PTC India Financial saw its shares soar more than 13% after reporting robust Q2 results. The company posted a significant jump in net profit, which rose 86.2% year-on-year to ₹88.1 crore, up from ₹47.3 crore in the same quarter last year.
However, net interest income (NII) saw a slight dip, falling 6% to ₹72.3 crore from ₹77 crore.
PTC India Financial shares opened strong today at ₹36.77, up from the previous close of ₹34.95, and have already touched a high of ₹40.12, while the day’s low stands at ₹36.65.
The stock remains well above its 52-week low of ₹29.41, although still shy of the 52-week high of ₹46.00, indicating room for upside. Early trading has seen robust activity, with a volume of over 1.56 crore shares as of 9:43 AM.
