Shares of Prataap Snacks Ltd. saw an uptick on Wednesday after the company initiated commercial production at its unit in Samba, Jammu and Kashmir.

The newly operational unit will manufacture a variety of snacks, including namkeen snacks, fried namkeen pellets, and popcorn, as stated in an exchange filing. With a production capacity of 10,000 metric tonnes per annum, the unit is poised to contribute significantly to the company’s output.

As of 12:16 pm, the shares of Prataap Snacks Ltd. were trading 1.03% higher at ₹961.40 on BSE.
