PNC Infratech’s stock soared 8% after the company got a bonus for early completion of a significant highway project under the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The project, valued at ₹738 crore, involved the four-laning of NH 530B, spanning 33.018 km from Caju Village to Devinagar Bypass in Uttar Pradesh under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM).
Originally slated for completion by December 31, 2024, the company delivered the project two months ahead of schedule. A Provisional Completion Certificate (PCOD) dated December 7, 2024, confirmed the highway’s readiness for commercial operations from October 31, 2024.
The early completion has earned Hathras Highways Private Limited, the project concessionaire, an early completion bonus of ₹14.28 crore, payable with the first annuity payment.
PNC Infratech shares opened at ₹315 today, reaching a high of ₹338 and a low of ₹313.05. The stock remains significantly below its 52-week high of ₹574.80, while staying above the 52-week low of ₹281.60.
