PNB Housing shares surge 6% after ₹178 crore stake increase by Singapore Govt, MAS, and Goldman Sachs

PNB Housing Finance share jumped more than 6% in morning trade after the Singapore government, Monetary Authority of Singapore and Goldman Sachs on Thursday increased their stakes in the company.

On Thursday, the Singapore government, the Monetary Authority of Singapore and Goldman Sachs increased their stakes in PNB Housing Finance for Rs 178 crore through open market transactions.

As per the block deal data available on the NSE, the Singapore government acquired 13.16 lakh shares, the Monetary Authority of Singapore purchased 2.13 lakh scrips and Goldman Sachs (Singapore) purchased 92,000 units of PNB Housing Finance.

As of 10:45 am, PNB Housing Finance shares were trading 5.24% higher at Rs 1,167.10% on the NSE.
