PNB Housing Finance shares jumped more than 4% after the company reported robust earnings for Q2 FY25.

The company’s net profit saw a 23% year-on-year rise to ₹470 crore, while its net interest income (NII) grew by 1.2% YoY to ₹669 crore. NII also improved 2.7% quarter-on-quarter, despite the slower growth due to a shrinking corporate book.

Net interest margin (NIM) slightly dipped to 3.68% in Q2 FY25 from 3.95% YoY. However, gross NPA declined to 1.24%, showing a significant improvement from 1.78% in the previous year. The company’s AUM grew 10.8% YoY to ₹74,724 crore, highlighting its solid performance.

As of 9:54 am,  PNB Housing shares were trading 4.86% higher at Rs 979.90 on the NSE.
