Shares of Persistent Systems declined sharply by over 3% in early trade after the company reported its Q3 FY26 financial results.

For the quarter ended December 2025, Persistent Systems reported consolidated revenue of ₹3,778 crore, marking a 5.5% quarter-on-quarter increase compared with ₹3,581 crore in the previous quarter.

Operating performance showed improvement during the quarter. Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) rose 8.5% sequentially to ₹632 crore from ₹583 crore, while operating margin expanded to 16.7% from 16.3% in the preceding quarter. However, net profit for the quarter declined 6.8% quarter-on-quarter to ₹439 crore, compared with ₹471 crore in Q2 FY26.

Alongside the financial results, Persistent Systems announced an interim dividend of ₹22 per share.
