Paytm shares came under pressure today, slipping more than 5% in afternoon trade. The stock opened at ₹1,225 and lost ground after touching the day’s high of ₹1,234.70. By 2:25 PM, it had fallen to an intraday low of ₹1,163.90.

At the time of writing, trading volume was strong, with over 23.7 lakh shares changing hands on the exchanges. Despite today’s weakness, the stock remains well above its 52-week low of ₹628.50, though it is also trading below its recent 52-week high of ₹1,296.60.

Paytm shares were down 2.84% at ₹1,194.40 apiece around 2.28 pm. It has jumped 20.94% this year, so far.
