Oil prices dropped by over $5 on Wednesday due to lower demand for fuel and a less positive economic outlook becoming the main focus of the day’s trading. Brent crude oil futures ended 5.6% lower at $85.81 per barrel, and U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude (WTI) fell by 5.6% to $84.22.
