NLC India shares jumped more than 2% in morning trade after the company signed two joint venture agreements with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RVUNL) to build a 375 MW lignite-based thermal power station and establish 2000 MW of renewable power projects in Rajasthan.

The joint venture’s initial paid-up capital is INR 5,000,000/-, with NLCIL holding 74% and RVUNL holding 26%.

NLC India Ltd (NLCIL) stock opened today at ₹247.00, with a high of ₹252.80 and a low of ₹244.50. Its 52-week high is ₹311.80 and the low is ₹116.80.

As of 9:42 am, NLC India shares were trading 1.99% higher at Rs 248.25 on the NSE.
