Bharti Airtel also witnessed a sharp decline, dropping 1.78% to ₹1,739.65, down by ₹31.45. The telecom major saw early weakness after opening at ₹1,755.20, touching a low of ₹1,733.50.
Energy sector giant ONGC saw a dip of 1.19%, trading at ₹291.70, down by ₹3.50. The stock opened at ₹292.70, with fluctuations driving it to a low of ₹289.70.
Lastly, HDFC Bank slipped by 0.73%, trading at ₹1,770.50, down by ₹12.95. Despite a stable start at ₹1,777.00, the banking stock struggled to maintain positive momentum.
