Indian equity benchmarks ended higher on September 17, with the Nifty closing above the 25,300 mark. At the close, the Sensex gained 313.02 points, or 0.38%, to settle at 82,693.71, while the Nifty advanced 91.15 points, or 0.36%, to finish at 25,330.25.

  • Bharat Electronics ended at ₹412.20, gaining 2.3%.

  • Kotak Mahindra Bank settled at ₹2,050.30, up 1.4%.

  • Maruti Suzuki India closed at ₹15,790.00, higher by 1.4%.

  • UltraTech Cement ended at ₹12,730.00, advancing 1.2%.

  • Tech Mahindra closed at ₹1,548.70, up 1.1%.

  • Trent settled at ₹5,205.00, rising 1.1%.

  • Coal India ended at ₹399.50, gaining 0.9%.

  • Tata Consultancy Services closed at ₹3,172.80, up 0.9%.
