Indian equity markets ended lower in a volatile session on October 28, with the Nifty slipping below the 25,950 mark. At the close, the Sensex fell 150.68 points, or 0.18 percent, to end at 84,628.16, while the Nifty declined 29.85 points, or 0.11 percent, to settle at 25,936.20.   • Larsen & Toubro – advanced 1.3% to ₹3,972.8

  • Eicher Motors – increased 1.1% to ₹6,985.5

  • Hindalco Industries – added 1% to ₹849

  • State Bank of India – up 0.8% at ₹930.3

  • Jio Financial Services – rose 0.8% to ₹308

  • Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories – gained 0.8% to ₹1,293.9
