The Nifty IT Index maintained its rally on Tuesday with the index rising 1.8% to touch 21,779.80 level. It previously closed at 21,391.90 and opened at 21,397.50 level.
HCL Technologies, Mindtree and Coforge rose more than 3% intraday. TCS, Wipro and Infosys rose between 1-2%. Tech Mahindra touched Rs 849 after opening at Rs 820.60.
Infoedge and L&T Infotech were among the top losers with falling about 1% by mid-trade.
The Index has given a return of 70% in the last 6 months.
