FMCG stocks were trading flat on Wednesday with the Nifty FMCG Index at a level of 29,885.40, down by 0.25%.

The Index opened at 30,105.05 and touched the day’s high of 30,139.25. It had previously closed at 29,964.60.

United Breweries and Godrej Consumer were among the top gainers. P&G and Emami maintained to trade in green. ITC touched Rs 168.65.

Brittania and Jubilant Foods were among the top losers with a fall of more than a percent. Tata Consumer Products and HUL were trading in the red. Nestle was trading at Rs 16,180 while Colgate was trading at Rs 1,454.30.

The Index has given a return of 3% in 6 months.
