On December 2, Indian equity markets ended on a strong note, with both the Nifty 50 and Sensex showing impressive gains. The Sensex surged by 445.29 points, or 0.59%, closing at 80,248.08. Meanwhile, the Nifty 50 also registered a notable rise of 144.90 points, or 0.60%, closing at 24,276, crossing the crucial 24,250 mark.
