Indian equity markets experienced a significant setback on November 28, as major benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, closed in the red, erasing the gains of the previous trading session.
By the end of the trading day, the Sensex had fallen by 1,190.34 points, or 1.48%, closing at 79,043.74. Meanwhile, the Nifty dropped by 360.70 points, or 1.49%, ending the day at 23,914.20.
