Indian benchmark indices ended lower on October 31, with both Sensex and Nifty closing in the red amid broad-based weakness across sectors. The Sensex fell 465.75 points, or 0.55%, to settle at 83,938.71, while the Nifty slipped 155.75 points, or 0.60%, to close at 25,722.10.
