Indian equity markets ended on a strong note on October 1 following the Reserve Bank of India’s policy announcement.  The BSE Sensex surged 715.69 points, or 0.89%, to close at 80,983.31, while the Nifty 50 rose 225.20 points, or 0.92%, to 24,836.30.

Despite the broader market gains, several stocks on the Nifty 50 index recorded losses. Here’s a look at Nifty top losers (According to Trendline).

  • Bajaj Finance fell 1.1% to ₹987.7

  • State Bank of India declined 1.0% to ₹864.1

  • UltraTech Cement dropped 0.8% to ₹12,125

  • Tata Steel slipped 0.8% to ₹167.5

  • Asian Paints down 0.6% at ₹2,335.8

  • Bajaj Auto fell 0.6% to ₹8,626.5

  • Bharti Airtel declined 0.6% to ₹1,867.6

  • Coal India down 0.4% at ₹388.5

  • Maruti Suzuki fell 0.4% to ₹15,970

  • Eicher Motors edged down 0.2% to ₹6,990
