The Nifty 50 itself recorded a strong gain of 254.65 points (1.15%), settling at 22,337.30.

Nifty 50 top losers today

1. Bajaj Finance (Down 3.4%)

Bajaj Finance saw the biggest drop among the Nifty 50 constituents, witnessing a 3.4% decline. The stock price fell by 288.95 points, closing at Rs 8,297.

2. IndusInd Bank (Down 1.5%)

IndusInd Bank was another major loser, experiencing a 1.5% decline. The stock lost 14.60 points, bringing its price down to Rs 973.

3. HDFC Bank (Down 1.1%)

HDFC Bank also faced headwinds, with its stock declining by 1.1%. The share price dropped by 17.90 points, settling at Rs 1,692.1.

4. Shriram Finance (Down 0.1%)

Shriram Finance, in contrast to the above, showed minimal weakness, dipping only 0.1%. The stock lost 0.90 points, closing at Rs 632.
