Nifty 50 top gainers today, March 13: Bharat Electronics, State Bank of India, ONGC, Cipla and more

On March 13, Indian equity indices ended on a negative note, with the benchmark indices struggling to maintain upward momentum. The BSE Sensex dropped 200.85 points or 0.27% to close at 73,828.91, while the Nifty 50 declined 73.30 points or 0.33% to settle at 22,397.20.

Nifty 50 top gainers today

Bharat Electronics

Bharat Electronics emerged as the top gainer, closing at ₹280.1, marking a 1.2% increase.

State Bank of India

The country’s largest public sector bank, State Bank of India, recorded a 0.7% rise, closing at ₹727.9.

Oil and Natural Gas 

Oil and Natural Gas saw a modest gain of 0.5%, settling at ₹225.4.

Cipla

Pharmaceutical giant Cipla closed at ₹1460.1, registering a 0.4% gain.

Tata Steel

Tata Steel continued its strong performance, rising 0.4% to close at ₹150.9.

ICICI Bank 

Private banking major ICICI Bank closed at ₹1248.7, reflecting a 0.4% increase.

Power Grid Corporation

Power Grid Corporation recorded a 0.4% gain, closing at ₹268.1.

Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories 

Dr. Reddy’s saw a 0.3% rise, closing at ₹1108.0.

NTPC 

NTPC, India’s leading power producer, recorded a 0.2% increase, closing at ₹330.8.

Sun Pharmaceutical 

Sun Pharmaceutical gained 0.2%, closing at ₹1679.9.
