Top Gainers
Among the top gainers on the Nifty, Bajaj Auto closed 4.0% higher at ₹8,978. Mahindra & Mahindra rose 3.6% to ₹3,315.4, and Tata Motors ended 3.2% higher at ₹690.2. Eicher Motors gained 3.1% to ₹6,292, while Hero MotoCorp advanced 3.1% to ₹5,244. Trent added 2.8% to close at ₹5,445, Eternal climbed 2.4% to ₹321.4, and ONGC rose 2.3% to ₹239. Hindalco gained 2.1% to ₹718.8, and Asian Paints also closed 2.1% higher at ₹2,570.2.
Top Losers
On the losing side, Sun Pharmaceutical fell 2.0% to ₹1,563.3. ITC declined 1.0% to ₹405.9, while Hindustan Unilever slipped 0.6% to ₹2,645. Titan eased 0.3% to ₹3,618, and Reliance Industries ended 0.2% lower at ₹1,353.9. Larsen & Toubro also declined 0.2% to ₹3,595. Cipla was down 0.1% at ₹1,587.2, and HDFC Bank closed 0.1% lower at ₹950.8.
