Nifty Top Gainers
ITC was the top gainer, closing 2.2 percent higher at ₹409.5. Shriram Finance rose 1.8 percent to ₹581.9, while Bharat Electronics advanced 1.5 percent to ₹369.4. Larsen & Toubro added 1.3 percent to end at ₹3,605. Asian Paints gained 1.2 percent to ₹2,518.6. Trent closed 1.1 percent higher at ₹5,292, followed by UltraTech Cement up 0.9 percent at ₹12,635. Kotak Mahindra Bank rose 0.8 percent to ₹1,959.2, Sun Pharmaceutical added 0.6 percent to ₹1,595.7, and Tata Steel gained 0.6 percent to ₹154.5.
Nifty Top Losers
Mahindra & Mahindra was the biggest laggard, slipping 2.9 percent to ₹3,200. Reliance Industries fell 2.2 percent to ₹1,356, while Infosys declined 2.1 percent to ₹1,469. Apollo Hospitals shed 1.5 percent to ₹7,611, and Adani Enterprises was down 1.2 percent at ₹2,247.9. Tata Motors fell 0.9 percent to ₹669.5, JSW Steel declined 0.9 percent to ₹1,027, and NTPC lost 0.9 percent to ₹328. IndusInd Bank slipped 0.8 percent to ₹740.9, while Nestle India ended 0.7 percent lower at ₹1,154.2.
