NCC Ltd witnessed a 4% drop in share price after reporting a 12.5% year-on-year (YoY) decline in net profit for Q3 FY24. The company’s net profit stood at ₹193.2 crore, down from ₹220.7 crore in the same period last year.
Despite the profit decline, NCC’s revenue from operations saw a modest 1.6% growth, reaching ₹5,344.5 crore compared to ₹5,260 crore in Q3 FY23. However, at the operating level, EBITDA fell 16.6% to ₹420.9 crore from ₹504.4 crore. The EBITDA margin also declined to 7.9%, down from 9.6% in the year-ago quarter.
Earnings per share (EPS) dropped as well, with basic and diluted EPS at ₹3.08, compared to ₹3.51 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
NCC shares opened at ₹221.90, reaching a high of ₹221.90 and a low of ₹213.80. The stock remains volatile, with a 52-week high of ₹364.50 and a low of ₹200.55.
