NBCC (India), the state-owned construction firm, witnessed a remarkable surge of over 8% in its shares after securing orders worth ₹491.45 crore from multiple clients.

According to an exchange filing on Wednesday, NBCC announced a ₹112 crore order from the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) for the construction of a multi-facility healthcare complex.

Furthermore, the company also secured a ₹73.27 crore order from the Department of Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities for the construction of the Infrastructure Complex (IIC) with peripheral development in Bargarh District, Odisha.

As of 10:52 am, NBCC shares were trading 7.92% higher at ₹140.35 on the NSE, reflecting investor confidence amidst the company’s recent contract wins.
