NBCC (India) Ltd shares surged 3% on March 27, 2025, after the company signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT) on March 26. This collaboration aims to execute consultancy, EPC, redevelopment, and infrastructure projects across Maharashtra.
With this partnership, NBCC strengthens its presence in Maharashtra’s redevelopment sector, leveraging its expertise in transforming urban landscapes, including Delhi. The agreement focuses on key projects such as cluster development in Thane, data centers, renewable energy, and slum rehabilitation in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). Additionally, both companies will undertake affordable housing projects under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).
Valued at approximately ₹25,000 crore, these projects will be executed in phases over the next three to five years. This move aligns with the Government of India’s vision for sustainable urban development and housing for all.
NBCC shares opened at ₹82.35 today, reaching a high of ₹84.28 and a low of ₹82.22. The stock has a 52-week high of ₹139.83 and a low of ₹70.80.
