National Fertilizers shares drop 7% as Q3 net profit falls 70% YoY in Q3

National Fertilizers Ltd (NFL) saw its shares drop 7% following the release of its Q3 earnings report, which revealed a significant decline in financial performance. As of 11:43 AM, the shares were trading 7.10% lower at Rs 92.12.

The company’s revenue fell 22.8% year-on-year to ₹5,855.85 crore from ₹7,584.27 crore in the same quarter last year. This decline in top-line growth was accompanied by a sharp contraction in profitability.

NFL’s EBITDA dropped 53% to ₹149.32 crore, down from ₹318.50 crore in the year-ago period, leading to a fall in EBITDA margin from 4.2% to 2.5%. The company’s net profit plunged 70% to ₹45.81 crore, compared to ₹150.89 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

National Fertilizers Ltd. (NFL) shares opened at ₹96.10, reaching a high of ₹96.48 and a low of ₹91.54. The stock remains volatile, trading well below its 52-week high of ₹169.95 but above its 52-week low of ₹82.70.
