During the Muhurat Trading 2025 session, the Indian stock market witnessed a wave of positivity as several stocks posted notable gains. Leading the charge was Tata Investment Corporation, which surged 7.33% to Rs 863, emerging as the top gainer of the session.
DCB Bank continued its strong momentum, rising 5.26% to Rs 152.15, extending gains from its previous session rally. Kesoram Industries also advanced 4.45%, while Whirlpool of India and PDS Limited climbed 4.09% and 3.80%, respectively.
Other notable gainers included Allied Blenders (+3.77%), South Indian Bank (+3.49%), TVS Holdings (+3.39%), and Poly Medicure (+3.11%).
Investor sentiment remained upbeat as festive optimism and a strong start to Samvat 2082 lifted market confidence. Both benchmark indices — Sensex and Nifty 50 — traded higher, supported by strength in financials, auto, and consumer stocks.
Market analysts attributed the rally to renewed buying interest across sectors, driven by optimism for long-term growth in the new Hindu financial year.
