M&M Financial Services shares rose 2% in early trade after the company posted a steady Q1 FY26 business update. Total disbursements during the quarter stood at ₹12,800 crore, up 1% year-on-year. Business assets also saw healthy growth, rising 15% YoY to ₹1.22 lakh crore.
On the asset quality front, the company maintained stability despite a slight uptick. As of June 30, 2025, Stage-3 assets were in the range of 3.8%–3.9%, compared to 3.7% in the previous quarter and 3.6% a year ago. Stage-2 assets came in at 5.8%–5.9%, rising marginally from 5.4% in the previous quarter, but improving from 6.1% in the same period last year.
Collection efficiency remained strong at 95%, slightly better than 94% recorded in the year-ago quarter.
The company continues to maintain a solid liquidity position, with a buffer of over ₹9,600 crore as of June-end. This adds to investor confidence in the company’s balance sheet strength and its ability to manage near-term uncertainties.
M&M Financial shares opened at ₹263 and touched a high of ₹268.30 during the day, while the low stood at ₹262.70. The stock remains below its 52-week high of ₹333.72 but stays comfortably above the 52-week low of ₹231.52.
