Gold and silver prices remained stable today on the MCX, with December gold futures dipped 0.2% to Rs 50,468 per 10 gram while silver futures declined 0.15% to Rs 61,763 per kg.

Gold touched a day’s high of Rs 50,838 and Silver touched a high of Rs 62,230 after opening at Rs 61,790 on the Multi Commodity Index.

In the previous session, gold prices touched a days low of Rs 50,030, while silver gained 1%. In August, the metal futures had reached a high of Rs 56,200 per 10 gram and Rs 80,000 per kg, respectively.

In the global markets, Spot gold traded at $1,912 per ounce.

“ETF flows are usually highly price sensitive to unless we see sustained recovery in prices, we may not see much buying interest,” Kotak Securities had said.
