Trading on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) continues to remain halted this morning after a technical glitch in the margin calculation system disrupted operations.
Initially, MCX had issued two official timings for resumption on its website:
-
First, it announced that trading would restart at 9:45 am.
-
Later, the expected restart was pushed to 10:10 am.
However, even after 10:10 am, trading remains halted and the exchange has not issued a fresh update. Sources indicate the glitch may take a bit longer to resolve, and traders are advised to remain patient as the issue is being worked on.
Earlier in the morning, some users on social media platform X reported that prices had frozen since around 9:05 am, pointing to system-wide technical issues.
The exchange has not yet clarified when exactly trading will resume. Traders are encouraged to watch the MCX website and official notifications for the latest information.
