In July 2020, Maruti Suzuki passenger vehicles registered a increase of 1.8 percent YoY in domestic wholesale compared with July 2019.

The company experienced a wholesale of 98,210 units in the year and 100 000 units of domestic wholesale this year.

In June, when the company delivered 51,274 units and just 13,865 units in May, plant dispatches changed dramatically. On 12 May Maruti began manufacturing activities at his Manesar-factory.

Maruti Suzuki has announced sales growth in the UV segment which includes vehicles such as Vitara Brezza, Ertiga, XL6 and so on. In July 2020, the business delivered 19,177 units of UVs compared with 15,178 units in July 2019, an rise of 26.3 percent.

The change in demand for small cars is expected to benefit from a quicker turnaround in consumption in rural areas and an growing appetite for personal mobility over concerns of infection.

Maruti’s exports fell to 6,757 units during the month by 27 per cent year over year.

Yet on the positive side, the total sales of passenger cars of Maruti Suzuki in July 2020 improved by 90.67% in comparison with June 2020.
