The markets continue the upward rally as markets close higher on July 6. The global cues providing a back on the indices to trade higher.
At close, Sensex was at 36487.28 gaining 465.86 points or 1.29%, Nifty was up by 156.30 points or 1.47% closing at 10,753.70.

- All sectoral indices ending on the green side except Nifty Pharma as pharma stocks continue to slip red.
- BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices also ended up by gaining 1% each.
- About 1596 shares advanced, 1144 shares declined and 182 remain unchanged.
- M&M surged by 7% taking the share price to 570.55 by gaining 40.05%.
- ITC share dips by 7.75%, Share price at 199.80.
