Market Update:
The Share Markets on Monday are trading higher at opening despite mixed or negative global cues, SGX Nifty trading red at opening.
At Opening Bell, Sensex was trading at 37241.25 up by 221 points or 0.60% whereas Nifty was trading at 10963 up by 61 points or 0.56% at 9:15 IST.
HDFC Bank, Vodafone Idea, Britannia , M&M are some of the major stocks to be in focus in the trading hour on Monday.
Previously on Friday At Close, Sensex was trading at 37020 up by 548.46 points or 1.50%, Nifty was up nearly 161 points or 1.51% at 10901.85 on July 17.
Key Points at Opening Bell:
- Indices trade stronger even after the negative trend on SGX Nifty and other global indices.
- At market opening, HDFC Bank stands as the top gainer of Nifty up by nearly 3%.
- Sun Pharma as the top loser of Nifty at market opening on Monday down by nearly 2%.
- Nifty Bank at opening was trading at 212307 up by 311 points or 1.32%.
