The Indian indices opened positive consecutively for the third day of the week led by mixed global cues and in hopes with the vaccine development process to be successful in the country and other foreign countries as well.

At 9:15 IST, Sensex was trading at 37956 up by 25.68 points or 0.07% and Nifty was trading at 11169.06 up by 7.10 points or 0.6%.

Yesterday at market closing, Sensex was trading at 37930 up by 511 points or 1.37% and Nifty at 11162 up by 140 points or 1.27%.
