Market Update:
The indices on Tuesday ended higher at market closing as the market closes higher for the second consecutive day of the week led by Banking and Energy stocks as HDFC and BPCL among the top performers in the respective sectors.
At market closing, Sensex was trading at 37930 up by 511 points or 1.37% and Nifty at 11162 up by 140 points or 1.27%.
Nifty Bank was trading higher by over 400 points on Tuesday after opening positive.

- Bank, Energy stocks Outperform whereas FMCG and pharma stocks dip on Tuesday.
- Piramal enter, BPCL, powergrid among the top gainers of Nifty.
- Vodafone Idea and Bajaj Twins among the top losers of Nifty.
- Piramal enter surged over 10% and powergrid over 6%.
- Vodafone dipped over 7% on Tuesday.
