
The indices on Wednesday closed red after a flat trading session thoroughly. The index ended red but action was seen in stocks and hence the markets were in recovery at close, Auto stocks outperformed.
At close, Sensex closed at 38,369 down by 37 points or 0.10%, Nifty closed lower by 14 points or 0.12% at 11308.
Stocks of PVR surged over 6% after the company’s issue was oversubscribed leading to strong action in the shares.
