A significant block deal involving Rs 142.60 crore worth of shares of CE Info Systems, the parent company of MapMyIndia, took place on June 26. The seller was Rakesh Kumar Verma, the promoter and managing director of the company.

This deal involved 6.1 lakh shares, representing a 1.1 percent stake in the company. The shares were sold at a floor price of Rs 2,332 each, offering a discount of over 3 percent from the stock’s previous closing level of Rs 2,413.90 per share.

Earlier, CNBC Awaaz had reported Verma’s plan to offload nearly 1 percent stake in CE Info Systems. JM Financial brokered the deal.

As of 11:00 AM, the shares were trading 4.48% lower at ₹2,305.85 on NSE.

According to the company’s latest shareholding data, Rakesh Kumar Verma holds a 42.84 percent stake while his family members, Rashmi Verma and Rohan Verma, own a cumulative 10 percent equity.
