Mumbai, October 27 (Monday): Shares of Latent View Analytics Ltd fell 3.46% to ₹413.75 in Monday’s session after the data analytics firm reported its quarterly results, which showed performance below guided expectations in margins and US business revenue. The stock declined ₹14.85 from its previous close of ₹428.60, taking its market capitalization to ₹85.82 billion on the NSE.

The company reported revenue of ₹26,000 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2025 (Q2 FY26), marking a 23% year-on-year (YoY) increase. Net profit for the quarter rose 14.6% YoY to ₹4,500 crore. Meanwhile, adjusted EBITDA stood at ₹5,800 crore, with a margin of 22.5%, compared with 23.7% in the same quarter last year.

Sequentially, revenue increased 9% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), while net profit declined 9.6% QoQ. Adjusted EBITDA rose 11% QoQ, with a margin improvement of 0.4 percentage points.

Segment performance and growth drivers

Latent View highlighted robust performance in its Financial Services practice, which grew 94% YoY, and continued momentum in its Consumer, Retail, and CPG segment with 23% YoY growth. The company attributed the gains to new client wins and steady execution across markets.

Operationally, the company continued to benefit from synergies with Decision Point, the analytics firm it acquired last year. The integration, coupled with investments in Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions, supported improvements in operational efficiency and project execution.

During the quarter, Latent View delivered multiple analytics projects, including advanced sales forecasting, pricing analytics, demand planning, and data pipeline development for clients in manufacturing, retail, and healthcare.

Stock reaction and investor sentiment

Despite the topline growth, the market reacted negatively as the company’s margins and US business revenue continued to lag guidance. Analysts noted that these shortfalls have weighed on investor sentiment, prompting profit-booking after recent gains.
