Kotak Mahindra Bank shares jumped 4% in early trade on July 8 after the bank released its business update for the quarter ended June 2025 (Q1 FY26). As of 9:21 AM, the shares were trading 3.92% higher at Rs 2,234.10.

According to the filing, net advances stood at ₹4.45 lakh crore as of June 30, 2025, registering a year-on-year growth of 14% compared to ₹3.90 lakh crore in the same period last year. On a sequential basis, net advances increased by 4.2% from ₹4.27 lakh crore reported at the end of March 2025.

Total deposits at the end of Q1 FY26 came in at ₹5.13 lakh crore, marking a 14.6% rise over ₹4.47 lakh crore in Q1 FY25. Compared to the March 2025 quarter, deposits were up 2.8% from ₹4.99 lakh crore.
