Jana Small Finance Bank shares dropped nearly 5% after the release of its Q2 FY25 financial results, which highlighted a decline in the disbursal-to-AUM ratio to 15.2% from 24.4%. While the bank’s AUM grew by 17.3% to ₹26,411 crore and advances rose by 18.3% to ₹24,861.45 crore, the increase in gross NPA to 2.97% from 2.62% in June raised concerns among investors. Net NPA remained stable at 0.99%.
Despite the rise in provisions, the bank posted a strong net profit of ₹171.8 crore, a 40% year-on-year increase, and disbursements rose by 3.3% sequentially to ₹4,296 crore. However, as of 9:22 am, the shares were trading 3.95% lower at ₹490.00 on NSE, reflecting cautious investor sentiment.
