Shares of Hind Rectifiers Ltd. (HIRECT) jumped 3.77% to ₹1,705.50 on Friday, September 19, after the company announced the acquisition of France-based BeLink Solutions, marking its first major European base for expansion in next-generation robotics, power electronics, and electronics manufacturing services (EMS).

Deal details

The acquisition involves Hirect purchasing BeLink’s business and operating assets for EUR 1 million, fully funded through internal accruals. Additionally, EUR 2 million will be infused into a new subsidiary, with Hirect subscribing to EUR 1 million as preference shares and holding 66% equity, while promoter group companies will hold the remaining 34%.

Strategic impact
