HFCL shares fall nearly 5% after Q2 FY25 results show revenue decline

HFCL Limited has reported its consolidated financial results for the second quarter of FY25, revealing a slight decline in revenue but a modest rise in net profit year-on-year (YoY). The company’s revenue from operations for Q2 FY25 stood at ₹1,093.61 crore, down 1.61% YoY from ₹1,111.49 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY24. On a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, revenue fell by 5.58% from ₹1,158.24 crore in Q1 FY25.

Despite the drop in revenue, HFCL posted a 4.50% YoY increase in net profit, reaching ₹73.33 crore compared to ₹70.17 crore in Q2 FY24. However, QoQ, the net profit saw a sharp decline of 33.7% from ₹110.65 crore in Q1 FY25.

As of 9:37 AM, HFCL’s shares were trading 4.31% lower at ₹119.59 on the NSE, reflecting investor concerns over the decline in both revenue and sequential profit.
