Shares of Sun TV Network fell more than 6% in early trade on Friday, May 22, after the broadcaster reported a weak set of earnings for the fourth quarter of FY26, weighed down by lower revenue and profitability.

At around 9:41 AM IST, Sun TV shares were trading sharply lower after touching an intraday low of ₹485. The stock opened at ₹523 against the previous close of ₹518.75. During the session, the stock hit a high of ₹524.95, while live traded volume stood at 4.72 lakh shares. The stock’s 52-week range is between ₹480.20 and ₹660.70.

For the March quarter, the company reported consolidated revenue of ₹883 crore, down 6.3% year-on-year from ₹942 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

Operating performance also remained under pressure during the quarter. EBITDA declined 8.9% to ₹390.7 crore from ₹428.7 crore a year ago. EBITDA margin contracted 120 basis points to 44.3% from 45.5%.

Net profit saw a steeper decline, falling 37.4% year-on-year to ₹232 crore compared with ₹370.8 crore reported in the same period last year.
