Hindustan Construction Company (HCC) shares jumped more than 5% after the company bagged a Rs. 1031.6 Crore contract from the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Ltd. (MSRDC) for building a two-lane cable-stayed bridge in Raigad district, Maharashtra.

The 4.3-kilometre bridge will connect Tokekhar and Turumbadi, enhancing connectivity and economic growth in the region. HCC’s latest contract win adds to the company’s contributions to Maharashtra’s infrastructure landscape.

As of 1:47 pm, HCC shares were trading 5.04% higher at Rs 44.39 on the NSE.
