BSOFT, GNFC, and LICHSGFIN have been added to the Futures and Options (F&O) ban list, while AARTIIND, BALRAMCHIN, BANDHANBNK, CHAMBLFERT, HINDCOPPER, RBLBANK, and GRANULES remain under the ban.
A stock enters the F&O ban when its open interest (OI) exceeds 95% of the market-wide position limits (MWPL). The ban is lifted only when the OI falls below 80%.
Meanwhile, Indian equity indices closed higher on September 16, with the Nifty around 25,400. The Sensex gained 97.84 points to end at 82,988.78, and the Nifty closed up by 27.30 points at 25,383.80.
