The financial services firm posted a consolidated net profit of ₹28.67 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, down 37% from ₹45.38 crore in the same period last year. On a sequential basis, profit also dipped 11% QoQ.
Profit before tax (PBT) dropped to ₹36.64 crore, registering a 39% decline year-on-year and an 8% fall quarter-on-quarter.
Revenue too took a hit, coming in at ₹153.30 crore, 15% lower than ₹181.18 crore reported in the year-ago quarter. Compared to the March quarter, revenue slipped 14%.
The disappointing numbers triggered a sell-off in the stock. Geojit shares opened at ₹80 and touched an intraday low of ₹77.31. The stock is currently down more than 5% on the day.
Geojit has had a volatile run on the bourses this year. The stock is significantly off its 52-week high of ₹159.35, though still above its 52-week low of ₹60.73.
