Shares of Genus Power Infrastructures hit a 5% upper circuit in trade today after the company bagged large orders for smart metering services. As of 9:18 AM, Genus Power share price was at Rs 465.80, up 4.99% on the NSE.
The company’s wholly-owned subsidiary has secured three significant contracts totaling ₹4,469.04 crore (net of taxes). These orders pertain to the appointment of Advanced Metering Infrastructure Service Providers (AMISPs) for the design, supply, installation, commissioning, and ongoing management of approximately 5.59 million smart prepaid meters and related systems.
Mr. Jitendra Kumar Agarwal, Joint Managing Director of Genus Power Infrastructures Ltd., expressed confidence in the company’s continued growth trajectory. “We are pleased to announce that Genus Power Infrastructures Limited continues its remarkable growth with the successful securing of significant orders, further solidifying our leadership position in the smart metering sector.
