Gensol Engineering Limited witnessed a 5% surge in its share price following the announcement of a significant engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract worth ₹967.98 crore, including GST. The project involves developing a 245 MW Solar PV Project at the Khavda RE Power Park, Rann of Kutch, Gujarat, awarded by a leading public sector undertaking. The contract also includes three years of comprehensive operations and maintenance (O&M) services.

This win marks the company’s second major project at the Khavda Solar Park, having previously secured a ₹1,062.97 crore contract for a 275 MW Solar PV Project. With both projects combined, Gensol is set to develop a total of 520 MW of solar PV capacity at what is anticipated to be the world’s largest hybrid renewable energy park.
