Gateway Distriparks shares surge over 3% as net profit jump 606.2% YoY in Q3

Gateway Distriparks Ltd (GDL) saw a remarkable 3% surge in its share price following the release of its Q3 FY25 results, which reported a significant 606.2% year-on-year (YoY) increase in net profit. The company posted a profit of ₹455.5 crore for the quarter ending December 31, 2024, compared to ₹64.5 crore in Q3 FY24.

This impressive performance was driven by exceptional income of ₹390.77 crore, resulting from the fair valuation of equity upon the consolidation of Snowman Logistics Limited, which became a subsidiary in December 2024. Despite this, GDL’s revenue from operations showed a modest 2.4% increase, reaching ₹402.5 crore in Q3 FY25, up from ₹391.9 crore in the same period last year.

However, the company reported a 5.9% dip in EBITDA, which stood at ₹96.7 crore, down from ₹102.8 crore in Q3 FY24. The EBITDA margin decreased to 24% compared to 26.2% in the previous year.

As part of its financial announcement, GDL’s board declared a second interim dividend of ₹0.75 (7.5%) per equity share for FY25, with the record date set for February 7, 2025. The dividend will be paid by March 4, 2025.

Gateway Distriparks shares opened at ₹79.70 today, up from the previous close of ₹74.33. The stock reached a high of ₹80.80 and a low of ₹76.11 during the trading session. . Over the past year, the stock has seen a 52-week low of ₹73.50 and a high of ₹121.55, showing notable volatility.
