EaseMyTrip shares traded slightly higher on Wednesday, Dec 10, after the company announced a major sports partnership for the upcoming World Tennis League (WTL) 2025. The stock was up 1.15% at Rs 7.89 in early trade, gaining 0.090 points.
The company revealed on Tuesday that it has been onboarded as the Official Travel Partner for the World Tennis League, which is set to make its India debut this year. After three successful seasons in the UAE, the global tennis event will take place from December 17–20 at the SM Krishna Tennis Stadium in Bengaluru.
As the official travel partner, EaseMyTrip will handle end-to-end travel and logistics for players, teams, and officials. This includes coordination, scheduling, and premium support to ensure smooth movement throughout the tournament.
WTL 2025 promises a star-studded line-up featuring tennis heavyweights such as Daniil Medvedev, Nick Kyrgios, Paula Badosa, Denis Shapovalov, Rohan Bopanna, Gael Monfils, Elina Svitolina, Sumit Nagal, Magda Linette, and Marta Kostyuk. The event will also showcase India’s rising tennis stars, including Yuki Bhambri, Sahaja Yamalapalli, Ankita Raina, Shrivalli Bhamidipaty, Maaya Revathi, and Dhakshineswar Suresh.
The announcement comes at a time when tennis continues to gain traction in India, and the partnership strengthens EaseMyTrip’s brand visibility across major global sporting events.
